Tan Hock Seng is the founder, controlling shareholder, and Chairman of the Tech-Link Group, which includes Sinolog Properties, a leading real estate development platform focused on logistics and industrial properties and Dexion Asia Pacific, a premier provider of industrial and commercial storage solutions. With over 80 years of experience, Dexion operates throughout New Zealand, Australia, and Asia.
A seasoned expert in the logistics systems industry, Mr. Tan founded Tech-Link Storage Engineering in 1988, growing it from an importer and distributor of storage equipment into a global storage solutions manufacturer and systems provider. In 2008, Tech-Link expanded into developing Built-to-Suit logistics facilities in Singapore, becoming a prominent developer of modern logistics spaces, having built over 2 million square feet of logistics space for top global Third Party Logistics Providers (3PLs) such as DB Schenker, XPO Logistics, and Maersk Logistics.
In 2011, Tech-Link extended its footprint into China, developing over 1 million square metres of high-quality industrial and logistics facilities, particularly in the Yangtze River Delta region. The Tech-Link Group further strengthened its regional presence by acquiring Dexion Asia Pacific in 2017, expanding its reach to provide smarter, high-quality solutions for businesses across New Zealand and the wider region.
A veteran of the logistics systems industry in Singapore and China, Mr Tan founded Tech-Link Storage Engineering Pte. Ltd. in 1988 and grew it from an importer and distribution of storage equipment to an international storage solutions manufacturer and systems provider.
In 2008, leveraging on Tech-Link’s expertise in logistics solutions, Tech-Link ventured into the development of Built-to-Suit logistics facilities in Singapore. Today, Tech-Link is a leading developer of modern ramp-up logistics facilities in the country having developed over 2 million sf of logistics space for leading international Third Party Logistics Providers (“3PLs”) including DB Schenker, XPO Logistics, Kintetsu World Express and Maersk Logistics.
The Tech-Link Group entered the property development sector in China in 2011 and since then, has developed over one million square metre of high quality industrial & logistics facilities leased to leading international and China manufacturers and 3PLs, primarily in the Yangtze River Delta region.
In 2016, the Tech-Link Group restructured its property platforms in Singapore and China to form SSinolog Properties and in 2017, Tech-Link acquired Dexion Asia Pacific, further strengthening the company’s portfolio. The Tech-Link Group invested into developing a Regional Corporate Office and a world class manufacturing facility in Malaysia as a commitment to provide high quality, smarter solutions to the industry in this region.
